Our Mission

The Metrics Champion Consortium (MCC) is an open, multidisciplinary, non-profit  organization comprised of biotechnology, pharmaceutical and service provider organizations.  The mission of MCC is to develop, through a collaborative process, Performance Metrics within the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry with the intent to jointly encourage performance improvement, effectiveness, efficiency, and appropriate levels of controls for both Sponsors and Service Providers in support of the drug development process.

The MCC relies heavily on volunteers to make progress on its mission and strategic goals. However, there is a certain level of funding that is required for the administration of MCC functions and for providing facilitators with the appropriate expertise to lead and support the Working Groups. This funding is primarily provided through Corporate Sponsors and Members of MCC. Without financial support, MCC would have been unable to make the progress demonstrated over the past several years. Corporate memberships are contributions that are essential to the survival of the organization and the continued progress in developing worldwide industry standards to promote performance improvement of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and service provider organizations.
